Our Commitment
At Andaky Coffee, we understand that great coffee starts with the beans. That's why we meticulously select only the highest quality coffee beans, ensuring that each cup is a true delight for the senses. Our coffee beans are evaluated considering factors such as origin, altitude, and processing methods to guarantee a consistently exceptional product.
About Us
Andaky (Andaquies) represents the indigenous tribe that historically protected the Huila region of Colombia—the very land where our coffee is born. To us, the name "Andaky" is a tribute to the guardians of the soil and a promise to honor the heritage of these mountains.
Established in Geelong, Victoria in 2019, Andaky Coffee Traders was founded with a singular mission: to bridge the gap between the premium southern Colombian plantations and the Australian daily cup. Born in Bogota and now proud Geelong locals, my wife Carolina and I wanted to share the true soul of our homeland with our new community.
Precision Roasted in Australia
To honor the hard work of our family in Colombia, we utilize the latest roasting technology here in Australia. Our beans are precision-roasted by our partner Diego at MyRoastery in Wollongong, NSW, and distributed from Geelong and Melbourne to coffee lovers nationwide.
The Science of the Roast
-
Precision Profiling
We use data-driven software to program custom roast profiles that highlight the unique characteristics of our family's Acevedo beans.
-
Master Planning
Every batch begins with a meticulous plan, balancing temperature and airflow to ensure consistency from the first bag to the last.
-
From Farm to Drum
Fresh green beans from La Esperanza are loaded into the roaster, carrying the vibrant energy of the Acevedo mountains.
The Transformation
-
The Golden Phase
As the heat rises, the beans undergo a chemical transformation, developing the sweetness and clarity that Colombian coffee is famous for.
-
Peak Development
Moments before the finish, the beans reach their optimal color and aroma—the perfect expression of Don Fernando’s hard work.
-
Freshly Roasted
The finished roast is collected immediately, capturing the peak freshness that we deliver across Geelong and Melbourne.
The Final Touch
-
Consistent Quality
Our automated mixing technology ensures even cooling and a perfect blend, guaranteeing a high-quality cup every time you brew Andaky.
